Head Light retains ISO 27001 certification for 2025

ISO-27001-RGB-White

Head Light, a leading HR tech provider, has successfully completed the re-certification process for ISO 27001:2022, the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

This marks the company's continued commitment to and compliance with the Standard since first achieving certification in 2018.

The ISO 27001:2022 accreditation recognises Head Light’s comprehensive approach to protecting data and maintaining robust security protocols across all aspects of its operations. As a trusted partner to organisations in both the private and public sectors, Head Light manages critical talent and workforce information, making information security a foundation of its service delivery.

Ian Lee-Emery, CEO and Founder of Head Light comments:

“As an HR tech firm, we work with organisations to help them manage and retain their people – and we're dealing with our customers' most sensitive talent information.”

“Customers need to be confident that we're protecting their employees’ data and and be assured of the resilience and excellence of the systems we have in place.”

Ian also highlights the scope of the certification extends beyond data hosting:

“ISO 27001:2022 certification requires more than securely hosting customer data. It also requires us to demonstrate the robustness and security of our own software development process, the vetting of our team members and our proactive approach to managing threats and vulnerabilities.”

The re-certification supports Head Light’s listing on the UK Government's Digital Marketplace framework, G-Cloud 14, which enables public sector organisations to procure technology services through a streamlined, compliant and transparent process.
