It’s that time of year when people take time away from work - and make resolutions and plans for the new year. Many of these plans will include finding a new job in a new organisation where they’ll feel “valued” or “understood” or “part of the business.”
Looking forward to 2014, what are you doing to increase employee engagement? And indeed, do you know which areas you need to focus on? For example, do you need to take organisation-wide action, or are there actions your managers can focus on – or is there something each and every employee could be doing to increase their own engagement with the business?
Our Employee Engagement Checklist gives you a short worksheet which then signposts you to specific action you can start to focus on in the New Year.
It looks at employee engagement from the three very different perspectives of who can influence engagement. It looks what the organisation can do, the line manager and what the individual person can do so you can see quickly where action is needed. It then directs you to a list of 10 actions all of which have some great pointers as to what to do next...
