Transition effectively to Continuous Performance Management

Use the Continuous Performance Management IndexHead Light, the talent management software specialist, has created the new Continuous Performance Management (CPM) Index score which gives HR, managers and team members a way to improve how business objectives and development goals are managed and progressed.

Head Light will provide this Index within its Talent Performance® software - which facilitates continuous performance management conversations between managers and employees - at no additional cost.

“HR and Talent practitioners and managers alike are increasingly recognising that performance management should be a continuous, conversational process, not a twice-yearly event,” said Ian Lee-Emery, CEO and founder of Head Light.

“Organisations are already making great strides in this but they need to be clear that the objectives set are reviewed and updated regularly and meaningfully.  HR often doesn’t know if managers and employees are having the conversations that the shift to Continuous Performance Management enables.  Now they can easily find out and intervene and support if necessary.”

"From our knowledge and experience of good practice and pragmatism, we have created this Continuous Performance Management Index which draws together the scores from 9 different components of any objective to present a single overall CPM Index score. For example, we evaluate at how relevant the objective or development goal is, how active the manager and team member are in their review and update, the extent to which the goal has been shared with others and bought-into,  and the time frame linked to it.”
